Materials (NOT included):
- Anchor Baby Pure Cotton yarn (100% Cotton, 50 g / 165 m / 180 yd) in colors beige 00404, light green 00402, green 00272, orange 00181 for the pot
- brown embroidery thread or brown 00254
- 2 mm crochet hook
- 6 mm safety eyes
- toy stuffing
- stitch markers
- tapestry needle
Skill level: intermediate
Size:
16cm / 6.25” tall (including the leaves) when made with the indicated or similar yarn. Another version using Anchor Organic Cotton yarn (100% Cotton, 50 g / 125 m / 137 yd) is also shown in the pattern, final size is 20 cm / 8” tall (including the leaves)
Construction:
Head and body are worked in one piece starting from the top of the head.
Arms and legs are worked directly onto the body. Crochet leaves are sewn to the tip of the head. Then brown embroidery and roots are added at the end.
To make this amigurumi it isn’t necessary to use the recommended yarn and crochet hook. Using a larger crochet hook, and a suitable yarn, the amigurumi will be larger preserving the same proportions.
