PROJECT INFO

Materials (NOT included):

  • Ricorumi DK yarn (100% Cotton, 25 g / 58 m / 63 yd) in colors
    white (Cream 002) x3
    yellow (Saffron 063) x2
    brown (Chocolate 057)
    dark yellow (Mustard 064)
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • a pair of 12 mm safety eyes
  • black embroidery thread
  • tapestry needle
  • stitch markers
  • toy stuffing

Skill level: intermediate

Size:
20 cm / 8 ” tall when made with the indicated or similar yarn

Construction:
Head and body are worked in one piece starting from the top of the head.
The beak is made in parts joined together with the crochet hook and then sewn to the body. The head feathers, wings, tail and feet are made separately and sewn on at the end.
